"A sustainable data economy needs to give individuals control over data that is collected about them. Let's create such an economy in which individuals Financially profit when their data is (re)used." - S.A.M.

My Blog on Data Sovereignty aims to show and inspire (non-tech-savy) individuals on the topic that viable alternatives to Big Tech digital services or devices exist, which work reliably in the everyday (as tested by myself).
Plus, that it is easy (without coding skills), fast (in a few weeks) and worth it (thinking of 'Universal Data Income' as a keyword) to make the change to Big Tech Alternatives.

  • Why people should bother to gain control over personal data
  • What possibilities exist for individuals to assert control over data (regulatory or technological)
  • How to move to digital ecosystems that allow for individual data control, such as the Nextcloud or Solid Ecosystems (including trainings and best practices planned in the future)
  • Why it should be the rule rather than the exception that children (and, if possible, adults as well) should learn how to read code and learn one programming language through the means of institutions (schools, universities, employers, etc.)
